I've seen similar stickers on British His Master's Voice records. These stickers bear the text "Made in England for Radio Corporation of America ®" and mark records that were produced in England but exported to the United States. This sticker "Made for Radio Corp. of America (R)" seems the same type of sticker, just added to an Italian record.

The stickers were necessary because of copyright issues related to the Nipper trademark. Radio Corporation of America (Victor/RCA Victor) held the copyright on Nipper and the phrase "His Master's Voice" in the U.S., whereas The Gramophone Co. (His Masters Voice label) held the copyright in Europe (except in Germany, where it belonged to Deutsche Grammophon AG and its Electrola label).

When RCA Victor imported His Master's Voice or, in this case, La Voce del Padrone" records to the U.S., they added this sticker (here's a list with some examples). When The Gramophone Co., in turn, imported Victor records to the UK, these records received an overpaste label that covered up the Nipper trademark and marked them as a "Special Record" (some examples). The same happened with imports to Germany.

The record itself is a 1943 repress of a 1930 release.

"Made for Radio Corp. of America" seems to imply that this an export issue. Perhaps scrough or Redpunk has some data for it.
