Based on label images and dates in discographies & the French National Library (BnF), I think that Gramophone (label) was replaced by Voix de son Maître per 1-1-1949. Last Gr labels I've seen in the K-series are K-8862 & K-8875, and Gr K-8882 is reported in BnF as 1948.
I've seen VsM K-8886 and K-8894. The latter is by Maurice Chevalier, recorded 8 Nov 1948 (mx OLA-5416). BnF gives publ. date for K-8887 as 1949.
I've seen Gramophone SG labels in the range Gr SG-1-53. VsM SG-55 by Dizzy Gillespie is on discogs. I have seen 2 repressings of Gr SG issues: SG-47 by Armstrong (on this website) & SG-53 by Jelly Roll Morton.

The M3 number gives a mid 1949 galvanoplaty date.

According to Rate Your Music (with a lot of examples), the French label La Voix De Son Maître didn't start its catalogue numbers with the "SG." prefix before 1948, possibly not before 1949. Nearly everything before 1949 had the "K-" prefix. So LouisSidney is most probably right with his 1949 suggestion, and I'll correct it like that.

The mentioned earlier La Voix De Son Maître SG. 47 was defintitely not released before 1948, so I'll change that one to 1948 for now.

Do you know what it means was recorded for the film September 5 - October 8, 1946, Los Angeles, LA
Back o'town blues was recorded or released late 1946.
These two tracks weren't released on the same single.

Victor 20-1912: Back O' Town Blues (Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra - 1946)
Victor 20-1912: Linger In My Arms A Little Longer, Baby (Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra - 1946)
Victor 20-2087: Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans (Louis Armstrong And His Dixieland Seven - 1946)
Victor 20-2087: Endie (Louis Armstrong and His Orchestra - 1946)

This is the US releases.

Hope it helps

We already have on the site #SG47 from 1946 with two other songs from the same movie. So I can't agree with you, lorangrecords :o)

The film went up on the movies in France 5 sept. 1947, so later than that is not a proper date for the release of the record I think

 I think it's a 1949 release, not 1946.
