I've moved the last images up, Bob. The longer patent text with patent nr. 1,702,564 was listed on labels between 1946-1948, so this is the label of the original August 1947 release.

The other two labels without a patent nr. in the patent text are 1948-1950 represses. Ron's labels are a Bridgeport, CT pressing, yours are a Kings Mill, OH pressing.

The most obvious difference is the different fonts used for the catalog number. Based on an earlier post by W.B.lbl., Bridgeport set its catalog numbers in 14 point Condensed No. 1, Kings Mill in 14 point Erbar Bold Condensed. In layman's terms, the Kings Mill catalog numbers look more squished together.

Bridgeport also managed to set the notice "For perfect tone / use Columbia needles" perfectly justified left, whereas Kings Mill indented the second line a bit.
