fixbutte 7th Jan 2019		Further web research provided a link to a review in the June 1945 issue of New Records, so it was apparently released in 1945, presumably in May. Another link to the book Discographie der deutschen Kleinkunst seems to suggest that the album sides were recorded in 1944. Full access to the sources is not available via Google Books though.



fixbutte 7th Jan 2019		This is the second record of a three-record album by Greta Keller, Moods, with cat# SP 101. I have still not found a source revealing when it was actually recorded and released. However, Asch did not start before 1943 to number the individual records of an album with suffixes (-1, -2, -3) to the album cat#, so it was apparently released between 1943 and late 1945 when the label ceased to exist. Strangely, Asch had used cat# 101 already in 1942 for a Lead Belly record, Take This Hammer (Steel Drivin') / Corn Bread Rough, which was part of another three-record album, Work Songs of the U.S.A. Sung by Lead Belly. The other two records of the album had cat# 102 and 103, and there was no separate number for that album.
