 Thanks to 78-Ron and Tailspin, each of the 18 releases of the Specialty hillbilly series has now been verified - except this one, of which physical existence I have some doubts, although it was listed in the Specialty files and consequently in several record guides.

Anyway, the singer's real name is Noble F. Stover (born Nov 16, 1928 in Huntsville, TX, died June 6, 2005) and he made a number of records for smaller labels, even one for Columbia, according to his page on Praguefrank's blog.
