I'm surprised that this Scandinavian export label features a British purchase tax code. DTP was in force December 30, 1950 - April 15, 1953. Maybe HMV stamped the tax code onto these records because they could also be bought in Britain?

Yes, very interesting! On the A-side I can read what you, xiphophilos, describe and also (I suppose): "Orch ... + 2/16". On the B-side, I guess: "Black ... [Fant] asy ... Duke Ellington Orch ... colored ... +16".
But I have only looked at the high-resolution images. Possibly I can check directly on the disc next week.

A completely different thing: On Creole Love Call, it's Adelaide Hall vocal (not Duke as the note indicates).

It's interesting that it is possible to read much of the info here that the recording engineers scratched into the matrix and that is usually covered by the labels. I can make out "Creole (Love) Call / Ellington ... Colored." Can you read the rest?
