 The same label design was also used on Continental C-5115 from Oct. 1949 (announced in Billboard, Oct. 8, 1949, p. 39).

 I agree with xiphophilos. My guess it that it is part of a Christmas album, with the other records having numbers: Xmas-1, Xmas3, etc.

 With a name like Continental and the cat. nr. prefix XMAS, it's at least an Anglophone company. The rest of the text is a mixture of English and German. "Orgel" is German for "organ", but the German for "Violin" would have to be "Violine" or "Geige".

My guess would be that this is the usual US company Continental, but that they introduced a new prefix, XMAS, and changed the logo font to a more "Ye Olde Christmas" look.

 This is a very unusual item. I would like to know more about it, if anybody knows more to tell. There are no clues to associate it clearly with the American Continental label - the logo doesn't match and there are no maker's id's on it. The titles and at least part of the descriptive wording are in German, but that would not rule out it's origin with American Continental, as they issued many "ethnic" releases. I am not aware of their having issued any anonymous recordings though.
