Whyperion After reading your comment regarding Abebooks/Amazon / Waterstones websites , I think your cover image is probably correct.
When searching for this title on this site by authors name your entry is catalogued as 1998 which is the date of my book. I didn't notice the 2020 reprint date.
I have now made a new record for my edition and asked for my cover images to be removed from this entry.

I rather think the "publisher image" never existed in print . Abebooks/Amazon / Waterstones websites seem to have the publisher image , I would have to check contemporary adverts in Buses, that I have somewhere, to check
