The complete number could be entered into Notes, esp. absent a back cover image.

I've read only a few: I liked Amis/Markham's "Colonel Sun" the best of the lot; I found Gardner's efforts mediocre at best, although they provided titles for the later films.

What has stuck with me all these years, though, as I recall, was Huxley's statement concerning black ladders.

I'd think that the "of OO7" bit should be removed from the title. BTW, I mistook the linked edition as Arrow, when the publisher is clearly Century ... one of those senior moment lapses?

annaloog 29th Jun 2022		Book Girolamo Bertolio - Viaggio da Strasburgo a Colonia (1836)	The oldest book in my collection, some 180+ years old, had already suffered quite a bit of wear and damage to the covers, and foxing on the pages, before I exchanged my 50c for it way back in 1969 or '70. The preface to the reader ('lettore'), roughly translated, begins, "This booklet, which I present to you, a cultured and courteous reader, is extracted from the wanderings of an artist, an anonymous work that is being published in Paris with great typographic luxury together with the most delicious engravings...." Any engravings, however, are conspicuous by their absence (aside from the 'Amenitâ' page). Judging from internet search hits, copies of this book seem to be not too uncommon, with asking prices averaging about US$70.

annaloog 22nd Jun 2022		Book Tim Heald - Deadline (1981)	The cover scan proved 'interesting': the figure of the man is printed in a deep red metallic ink, which my scanner rendered as black. With a bit of tweaking in gimp, I've managed a semblance of the red tint while keeping the other black areas black. As s side note, I don't see this listed as a TV series.

The printing history as listed on the Bantam (first) edition copyright page was added (as mentioned in my previous comment), as was the list of stories from the contents page. The SBN is printed on the spine. I am still at a loss to understand what you find fault with. <insert scratches head emoji>
