Peter O'Donnell - The Silver Mistress (1975)
I've still yet to see this rule; when you add books you select where it was published. For example, A Taste For Death, published in Great Britain, with UK price on reverse, followed by overseas pricing. To me common sense would still dictate a UK edition, International being a bit of a cop-out.

Peter O'Donnell - A Taste For Death (1973)
@23skidoo Hi, this seems to be reprint of my original entry (same ISBN) the covers identical, with the exception of price increases in yours; UK price 30p on mine. No illustration on my entry yet due to previously mentioned issues, although my cover is quite tatty and marked anyway, so I may not have bothered!
Still listed mine under UK issue though (produced in Great Britain for sale here and in other territories). I haven't read the Modesty Blaise books for years and feel a re-read long overdue..

Marc Scott Zicree - The Twilight Zone Companion (1992)
The 1992 date listed is the first Silman - James edition. The actual first may well have been 1982, but a different publisher first time around, maybe Bantam, but I don't have the detail of this.

Gary Russell - Doctor Who: Big Bang Generation (2015)
As you may have seen, there has been some discussion regarding 'international ' releases and not just books. For a random example, Cathy Come Home (Pan Books, 1967) has rear pricing for UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. As far as I'm concerned this is a UK book that was also for sale in these other territories. Sometimes they were given additional stickers or stamps indicating that countries' price on the front to make it clear.
To me that's still a UK book. I still enter these items as based on the primary market, which with my items tends to be UK. Record wise a load of records were pressed in France and Germany, but manufactured for sale in the UK. These are not imports.
I have a feeling that the matter will never be agreed on, but obviously if these entries get switched to international, then so be it. This will make searching for items a muddy affair and detrimental to an organised site though.

23skidoo, yes you're correct. I've checked my copy and it only appears on covers, not on TP.
Requested removal as per your comment. Thanks!

Roger Langley - Think Tank (1984)
Just checked out the omnibus, The Prisoner section on here is filling out nicely!
That L.P. sounds like the first Bam-Caruso pressing, with the fold out bars on the front (weba 66). That came with booklets and a map and 6 of 1 membership details etc. My mate bought this from Our Price records in Bournemouth in '86, their only copy, about double the price of a regular album then I think. I had to make do with the regular edition (kiri 66) a bit later and order the bits and bobs separately...

@23skidoo. Still have a box file with a load of 1980s Number Six mags, map booklets etc, but I do like the look of the Max Hora titles you've put on. I probably haven't bought any Prisoner related books since that Virgin HB in 1990, but I somehow missed these altogether! I'll Keep an eye out for your others, thanks.

Thanks for adding the images, a new laptop and scanner are not on the horizon!
The covers are identical to mine, the 1986 printing, purchased from The Six of One in 1987.
Cheers again!

Further to this, the book launch was on June 15th 2004, at 12 Bar Club, Denmark Street.
No, I didn't make it. This book was quite an eye opener for me, by the way!

Robert A. Heinlein - Stranger In A Strange Land (1970)
Unable to scan the cover at present, but with this ISBN in use for quite a while, I have a later copy of this (cover illustration by Tim White) stating New Edition 1978, nineteenth impression 1989.
It includes a barcode, but wondered if I should enter here as whilst it does belong with the book number (albeit with its 0 prefix) the barcode clearly doesn't belong in 1970.....

Terry Pratchett - Sourcery (1989)
We had Mike back then, who I later dealt with when at Ottakar's (he was then with Simon & Schuster). Most reps were pretty good; I even got a Batknife (in reality, a letter opener) from Futura when they published a tie-in novel....

Football 78 - Figurine Panini (1978)
I haven't marked it as owned yet, but I hope I still have this. The Saturday morning ritual of pocket money to the shop and opening them outside on bikes with my mate James, for swaps. Still remember the smell of them too! This collecting lark really stays for life, doesn't it....?

Book
Richard Barnes - The Who Maximum R&B (1982)
Ordinarily each edition, with changing ISBN would get its own entry, as a reissued L.P. with new cat no.would. This Eel Pie book, along with Richard Barnes' Mods! paperback both got Plexus reissues, although I wasn't aware of the lack of flexi, that's annoying!
I don't think I can link between '45' sites, but the flexi seems to have been entered twice.
One of which lists the cat no. 623827XS, under Pete Townshend. It's also listed under The Who.

Book
Terry Pratchett - Sourcery (1989)
When this came out in paperback I was given a promotional box by the Transworld/Corgi rep. It contained a copy of Sourcery in paperback and a 'Mummies' mug. Still have it somewhere, but not something that can be scanned. I do think it was strictly a promo item though, not for sale.

M. Elia - 1a We Go To The Gallery (2015)
I've listed this book under the listed publisher, Dung Beetle, despite it obviously being a spoof, although I think the company did indeed come into existence after the first edition was issued.
It was originally self published via Kickstarter by Miriam Elia, who co-authored and illustrated the book. There was also a legal issue with Penguin (home of the Ladybird books it parodied). Ironically, Ladybird now do really well themselves with 'adult' spoofs....

Edwin Torres - Carlito's Way (1994)
Carlito's Way first published in USA by Saturday Review Press/E.P.Dutton & Co.Inc 1975.
After Hours first published in USA by The Dial Press 1979.
Published in one volume as Carlito's Way in Signet 1994, to tie-in with the film adaptation.
Film released in November 1993 (USA) January 1994 (UK).
Note: my copy has author's name partially missing at bottom of cover. The only other copy I've seen also had this, so not sure if a misprinted batch or intentional quirk....
