Bounds - The Robot Brains (1964)	brown, watson ltd.'s digit books imprint was closed down late 1964; this may well've been connected with the bankruptcy of thorpe & porter ltd, the news wholesalers, owing their various book suppliers between three months (the normal maximum) and six months - or more - money for stock supplied on credit. brown, watson ltd. continued to publish uk paperback editions of books at a much slower rate, finally tailing off to none in about mid-late-1966. they continued to publish annuals (for the christmas trade, primarily), and were eventually absorbed into one arm or another of a sprawling octopus of the merkin publishing industry.
