ppint. 26th Aug 2024		Book Jeffrey Lord - Warriors Of Latan (1984)	© 1984 book creations, inc., lyle kenyon engel's corporate identity once he removed to california ''jeffrey lord'' is/was a house name: this work-for-hire was written by roland j. green last known english language ''richard blade'' series novel, #37. the series was continued in french language original novels from #38 through #206, initially published by plon, terminating in 2012 through irreconcilable differences between vauvenargues, the by-then publishers, and the authors. the titles of #207 & 208 were announced as forthcoming, but it's not known if these were actually written.

ppint. 25th Aug 2024		Book Constantine FitzGibbon - When The Kissing Had To Stop (1962)	fiercely anti-communist and anti-nuclear disarmament, fitzgibbon's near-future vision is of a britain invaded and occupied by an opportunistic soviet union after the ill-advisedly idealistic abandonment of nuclear weapons by a left-wing government of the uk-of-gb-&-ni. it was dramatised for television as an itv "play of the week" broadcast in 1962, and after some virulent criticism of the author at the time, he adopted one of the more colourful charges levied against him as the title of his "random thoughts of a fascist hyena" (1963), q.v.
