ppint. 13th Apr 2019		near-identical editions/printings sharing merkin-printed covers, and hence also cat# and cover art by alan atkinson (credited, art also signed) near-meaningless daw books collector no. 212 cover price $1.50 256pp. including titles, indicia, b+w map (unsigned) etc, end pp. advertising refer to indicia to see if carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed. no priority established nor liable to be. cover art is retained (though daw books collector no. is not - cover price moves into the daw logo box) through the simultaneous 6/1979 third (merkin) & fourth (canadadian), and the 10/1983 fifth printings, though cat# changes with and to match merkin cover price rises (the fourth shares the merkin cat# even though this indicates another cover price); cover art changes with the 1988 sixth printing. b+w map is credited to c.j. in later printings.
