Book
Notes 1st edition, published in paperback in the format of the 1970s Target Books series. A novelization adapting the Doctor Who teleplay The Pirate Planet by Douglas Adams; Adams receives co-author credit on cover and spine, but Goss is solely credited on title page. This is not to be confused with Doctor Who: The Pirate Planet, a 2017 novel also credited to James Goss with Douglas Adams, which was adapted from Adams' first-draft scripts for the episode; rather, this is a newly written adaptation based upon the televised version of the story. However, the copyright page erroneously gives a 2017 copyright date for this version. Includes an ad for the alternate version of the novelization. 186 pages. Images
