First paperback edition. Novelization of the 6-episode 1968 storyline, adapting the teleplay by David Whitaker.

Only 23,000 copies exist of this edition, a very low number for a Doctor Who Target novelization. This was apparently due to a warehouse fire destroying many copies, and the fact the book itself never received a reprint run.

No. 130 in the Doctor Who Library. 144 pages.

23skidoo 1st Oct 2020		I don't have enough firm info to add to the valuation section on this, but I have seen Wheel in Space listed for more than $100. If I'd known that when I'd bought my sale copy for all of $1.49 (see cover scan) you can bet I'd have bought every copy they had, price tag or no price tag!
