23skidoo ● 13th Jul 2020		Year of publication was 1973, not 1974 (I checked). Correction submitted. Does anyone have a copy of this that was purchased in the United States? If so, and it also has the notice about UK distribution, then the country on this should be either set for USA or International. EDIT: please disregard that last sentence. I have examined the case of Battle for the Planet of the Apes, and based upon that book, this is definitely a UK printing. The error regarding date stands though. EDIT 2: Cover scans added.

ppint. ● 14th Nov 2018		five near-identical merkin editions/printings bear award books' cat# AN1240 and cover price of 95¢ on the front cover. this uk p/b edition does not. it was almost certainly produced as a run-on of the first merkin printing before being bound in the printed-for-the yuk-of-gb-&-ni card covers and will have necessarily been distributed in the yuk-of-gb-&-ni up to a month or so after the distribution of the 1/1974 merkin first edition in the continental usa; but possibly actually during 1/1974.
