ppint. ● 12th Mar 2019		interminable gor series #13: #1: "tarnsman of gor" (1966), q.v. for mmp/b series listing, and links. near-identical editions/printings sharing merkin-printed covers, and hence also cat#, ISBN and cover art by gino d'achille (signed with his initials, cd, credited) near-meaningless saw books collectors number 328 464pp? including titles, indicia etc. refer to indicia to see if carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed. no priority established nor liable to be, both bear first printing date & number-string 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 cover prices also differ: cover price $2.25 (merkin-printed carcass) cover price $2.50 (canadadian-printed), but second letter of cat# not varied to reflect this. check also for digits dropped from indicia printing history number-string: number-string 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 would indicate third printing (not seen reported) (may've been pre-empted by a second canadadian-carcassed printing, retrospectively accounted third printing by daw books, inc: but this not yet seen reported, either) undated fourth printing with number-string 4 5 6 7 8 9 cover price $2.25 seen reported cover price, cat# & isbn change with fifth printing, though cover art is retained.
