ppint. 12th Apr 2020		leslie "les" flood was for many years both a fan and a literary agent specialising in (but not restricted to) representing sf and fantasy authors, and also at least three merkin publishers of sf and fantasy, including ace books, in the uk. he took over the e. j. carnell literary agency after "ted" carnell"s death, and many uk authors owed a significant debt to les for their successful careers in the states and in non-english speaking countries, and merkin authors, for theirs in the uk & commonwealth territories.
