John Lennon's inventive nonsense verse accompanied by his own drawings.

Photographer Robert Freeman designed the book, and Paul McCartney wrote the introduction.

The book was published again by Penguin Books in The Penguin John Lennon in 1966 (along with A Spaniard In The Works), which was reprinted in 1968 and 1969, and again as a separate paperback volume by Penguin Books in 1980.

JPGR&B SUBS 21st Aug 2016		This copy I have scanned and added is a May 1964 reprint, the third reprint that year. I bought it in the UK in the early 1970s, so clearly there were copies still around.



OldMod67 11th Dec 2022		@JPGR&B: you're lucky they're mint! I got the paperback issues back then and being the only copies I had, read them cover to cover (countless times). Over the years the situation has obviously worsened and when I pulled them out to read on Dec 8th/9th P19-24, including the first page of The Fat Growth on Eric Hearble completely fell out! (this comment is from another edition of this book)
