ppint. 13th Nov 2017		o.p. please check indicia p. for printing line number-string of this daw mmpb: if the string of sequential digits starts with "1", it will be the first printing, as well as stated to be may 1979. daw books' third printings (& any subsequent printings) progressively drop digits (and if needs be, add digits to the end of the string, in rising order°), and may not specify a date for any but the first printing. ° - this format was later varied by some publishers to list odd and even numbers on opposite sides of a central "0": but, either way, the system of progressively dropping digits to leave the lowest remaining as the number of printings of a particular edition reached thus far is retained (this comment is from another edition of this book)
