By that idea, all collections / anthologies should be by the stories' authors, with the editor relegated to Notes. This collection happens to have been selected from stories by only one author, rather than several. If 45worlds could allow both author and editor to coexist, I would prefer equal billing for this title; alas, it is either one or the other.

the typography on the hale d-j is appallingly poor, and makes this collection of c. m. kornbluth's stories look as though it is an anthology edited by james blish...
- all of the stories are by one author, c. m. kornbluth:
so it'd make much better sense for all editions of this book to be bookcatted as ''author: c. m. kornbluth''
