upon the bottom of the spine is declared as isbn the string "0 • 8439 • 00146 • 075" which is not a possible isbn10, even dropping the last three digits (the cover price in cents), and transparently - if incorrectly - formed by appending the numerical part of the cat# to the english language & publisher's prefix code, after two zeroes as "spacers" to bring the whole up to ten digits. un/fortunately, this does not give a valid checksum digit in tenth place, indicating this number was not one officially issued to norden publications, inc.
