ppint. 21st Jan 2018		signet/new american library mmpbs with cat# P3669 and those with cover art by gene szafran: are preceded by those bearing the same cat#, but with cover art a detail from the first two preceding signet mmpb editions' cover art by richard powers; but i am missing some information. S1444 first signet merkin mmpb edition 10/1957; may be simultaneous with near-identical S1444 first signet canadadian mmpb edition (i've not knowingly seen this) also seen reported as 11/1957; new american library seemingly accounted this second printing when numbering the first few subsequent merkin mmpb printings; D2419 declared third merkin printing 1/1964 in indica, simultaneous with near-identical canadadian printing, declared second canadadian printing in indica. cat# ? fourth merkin mmpb printing ? i've not yet seen this.
