Abridged edition of the novelization of the 4-episode Doctor Who TV story, published in a format replicating the Target Books novelizations of the 1970s. Although Douglas Adams is first credited, he died a decade before the book was written; Goss' novel is based upon the teleplay by Adams and Graham Williams (who is uncredited) originally credited to the pseudonym David Agnew, and adapting an original story by David Fisher. This edition condenses the original novel to emulate the word count of the Target novelizations. 186 pages
