ppint. 14th Dec 2017		somewhat confusingly, indicia accounts the banner books first edition as the first avon printing. both being owned by the hearst corporation, this may be an indication that avon "inherited" the merkin licence to the rights, and didn't pay bob an advance against royalties to publish this edition.
