This is not an original novel as stated on the cover. It is a rewrite of the October 1956 issue of The Sexton Blake Library 4th series #368 story titled Dark Frontier by George Paul Mann writing as Arthur Maclean with all references to Sexton Blake removed

David Whiteley 20th Aug 2020		I think this is the only DM/SA novel that is a rewrite but if I find otherwise I will post a comment against the relevant entry.



23skidoo 19th Aug 2020		@David Whiteley - Wow! That's something I was totally unaware of that this was a Sexton Blake story rewritten. Do you know if any of the other DM/SA novels by him were rewrites? PS I took the liberty of adding a note to the magazine issue entry linking back to this novel, crediting you of course.
