| 23skidoo 1st Feb 2021 | Most editions from 1967 to the early 2000s shorten the title to "Octopussy" (q.v.) but more recent editions have restored the full title. Originally published by Jonathan Cape with only two short stories: "Octopussy" and "The Living Daylights". The second edition, published beginning with the 1967 Pan paperback, added a third story, "Property of a Lady". A third edition, launched in the early 2000s, added "007 in New York", a short story previously published in some editions of "Thrilling Cities"; most recent editions that use the full OATLD title include this fourth story. | |
