concaveman 15th Sep 2020		No, there is no subtitle in the 1948 edition.



23skidoo 14th Sep 2020		Previously published in 1899 as The Amateur Cracksman and in later editions as Raffles: The Amateur Cracksman. I have a 1914 edition with the latter title (q.v.). PS. Does the 1948 Penguin edition still show "The Amateur Cracksman" as a subtitle on the title page?
