Leslie Charteris receives cover credit, but the stories were written by Peter Bloxsom, with Charteris acting in an editorial capacity; Bloxsom is credited on the copyright page of this edition.

This edition includes a new foreword by Roland Hulme and retains Charteris' original preface from the 1977 original.
