 reprint anthology of nine novelettes and eight short stories

near-identical editions/printings sharing cat# and

cover art by richard powers (uncredited, unsigned, attribution from jane franks)
cover price differs:
cover price 35¢, canada 39¢ on green band across top of cover (primarily merkin-distributed copies)
cover price 39¢ on green band across top of cover (canadadian-distributed copies)°
400pp? including titles, indica etc, end pp. advertised

indica publishing history give 7/1953 printing date, 8/1953 publication date in both.

(°i do not know whether the carcasses or entire books of the canadadian-distributed copies were canadadian- or merkin- printed: advice of this from examination of a copy would be appreciated.)
