Although the front cover displays Kojak #1 as the main title, spine, title page and OCLC listing use only "Siege" as the main title. Series star Telly Savalas receives credit on the front cover, with the writer of the book credited on the back.

Dating error on the copyright page: it says the 1st Pocket Book printing was October 1974, but the second printing was August 1974. Assumed October 1974 as the correct date for this indexing.
