Notes

First paperback edition. First spin-off novel based upon the 1977 film Star Wars; according to Foster, it was based on a proposed storyline for the second Star Wars film. This edition is notable for not including the title "Star Wars" anywhere.

Some listings show a subtitle "From the Adventures of Luke Skywalker" but this is not present on the title page of this edition.

202 pages, with cover art by Ralph McQuarrie, who was the production artist on the first Star Wars film.
