Notes

First edition. Final numbered volume of short story adaptations of episodes of the original Star Trek. Blish died in 1975 before completing this set; two of the stories were written by his wife, J. A. Lawrence, who would go on to write the 13th and final book in the series, Mudd's Angels, completing the novelizations of the original Trek series. Episodes adapted:

* Patterns of Force by John Meredyth Lucas
* The Gamesters of Triskelion by Margaret Armen
* And the Children Shall Lead by Edward J. Lasko (adapted by Lawrence)
* The Corbomite Maneuver by Jerry Sohl
* Shore Leave by Theodore Sturgeon (adapted by Lawrence)

In addition, includes an episode listing of the entire series, and first printing came bound with a colour insert advertising animation cels from the Star Trek animated series. 180 pages

23skidoo 11th Sep 2020		Here's a q.v. for the next book, Mudd's Angels, which is solely credited to Lawrence, but in her introduction she says Blish wrote part of it.
