ppint. 31st Oct 2018		john spencer & co. badger books imprint p/b simultaneous first printing°, simultaneous first edition cover art by henry fox (signed) cover shown has had uk cover price 2'6 overprinted with a black rectangle and australian 4/-price added. 160pp. including titles, indicia etc. ° - bookcatters may prefer to regard this as an australian edition, though it's uk-printed, and is almost certainly a variant bind-up of part of the carcasses of the same uk p/b's print-run.



ppint. 25th Sep 2020		leo brett was a badger books house name, i.e. was used on work by a number of different author's. this particular novel was written (well, dictated) by lionel fanthorpe. first arcadia house printing, first h/cvr edition cover art by martin herbstman (signed ''herbstman'') cover price $3.50 192pp. including titles, indica etc, end pp. publication by john spencer and co. ltd. is noted, but no earlier edition than this by arcadia house (this comment is from another edition of this book)
