ppint. 21st Jun 2018		bears no date bar the copyright date; prob'ly 1957 as it was usually two years from hardcover to p/b; but 1956 is also quite possible as the 1955 hardcover first edition was also from frederick muller ltd. reference copy provided by courtesy of tony at the old pier bookshop, morecambe seafront
