Little Golden Book featuring the Chipmunks, a singing trio of anthropomorphic rodents who had been featured on the popular single "The Chipmunk Song" (also Christmas-related), although their creator, Ross Bagdasarian (a.k.a. David Seville) is not credited, even though the text incorporates lyrics from The Chipmunk Song. Illustrated by Richard Scarry but featuring different character designs than those that became familiar in later years.

23skidoo 16th Dec 2023		I have not been able to confirm this through a google search, but considering the story incorporates the lyrics to the song, an at least the first name is the same, I suspect David Corwin may be another pseudonym for Ross Bagdasarian (a.k.a. David Seville). If anyone knows, please correct this listing accordingly.
