ppint. 28th Apr 2019		cat# is^W was still wrong and should^W has now been corrected. daw books mmpb simultaneous first printings sharing merkin-printed covers and cover art by gino d'achille (credited, art is also signed with gd initials but may be trimmed off) b+w interior illustration by jack gaughan (uncredited, signed) near-meaningless daw books collector no. 333 cover price varies: cover price $2.25 (canadadian- printed carcasses and distributed copies) cover price $1.95 (wholly merkin-printed and generally-distributed copies) refer also to indicia, to see if carcass of copy held was canadadian- or merkin- printed. no priority established, nor liable to be, both bear first printing date & full number-string: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 undated (12/1980) third printing bears new cat#, new isbn, drops near-meaningless daw books collector no. and indicia printing history number-string: 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 it retains cover art by gino d'achille retained (as also on the fourth and fifth daw books printings).
