ppint. 4th Sep 2018		three further, outwardly near-identical editions/printings sharing cover design, absence of cat#, and cover art by jeff jones (signed) bearing progressively rising prices: cover price 60¢ second, stating "second big edition" on front cover above "author of conan", cover price $1.25 third, stating "new big illustrated edition" on front cover above "author of conan", cover price $1.50 all printings undated. the second edition/printing of this book was also pirated, stripped of all the centaur press, time lost, typography. this is identifiable by its indica statement the moon of skulls printed in hungary for the publishers peter haddock limited © 1968 by peter lord and listed upon the back cover: cover prices: u.s.a. 75¢, australia 75¢, new zealand 75¢, south africa 75¢ i know of no reason to believe it was distributed in north america - or, indeed, beyond the uk-of-gb-and-northern-ireland and the republic of ireland, and perhaps also in western europe, by newsagents wholesalers, on firm sale terms for sale at circa 75p or as an instant remainder for sale at around 25p.



ppint. 4th Sep 2018		peter haddock was also responsible for bridbooks and priory books. . . the indica copyright statement error "peter lord", may, i suppose, have been deliberate. (this comment is from another edition of this book)
