Second novel based upon the 1960s TV series. Front cover and spine title is The Prisoner #2; full title The Prisoner: Number Two is on title page. "Number Two" is correctly spelled out as it refers to the character by that name. Later editions change the title to The Prisoner: Who is Number Two? Some online resources such as OCLC erroneously credit Hank Stine, who wrote the third book in the series.

Cover photos depict Patrick McGoohan as Number 6.

23skidoo 21st May 2020		For those who have any interest about such things, this book was my first exposure to The Prisoner; prior to this my only knowledge came from the Apple II+ video game. McDaniel did such a good job that when I finally saw the series a few years later it actually conformed very closely to the mental images I created from reading the book!
