Abridged edition of the 1937 novella collection The Ace of Knaves (also published as The Saint in Action). This undated edition (year determined from book-collector websites) includes two of the three stories: "The Unlicensed Victuallers" and "The Beauty Specialist". Title page and spine title is "The Ace of Knaves" but the cover title modifies it so as not to be confused with the complete edition. 128 pages.
