First Coronet edition, published as a tie-in with the TV series Return of the Saint. Christopher Short is the author, but Leslie Charteris is credited on cover and title page and acted in an editorial capacity. This was one of only two full-length novels published during the 1968-1983 era of the Saint books to be an original story and not based upon a TV episode or comic strip. Cover shows Ian Ogilvy as Simon Templar. 192 pages.
