| ppint. 2nd Jan 2018 | bantam doubleday dell bantam books imprint mmpb first printing, first edition reprint collection of three novelettes and fourteen short stories with forward by the author cover art (unsigned, uncredited; seen attributed to pauline ellison, but with no reason given) cover price $1.75 288pp. (check) including titles, indicia, table-of-contents, forward etc, 4 end pp: 1p. about the author, 3pp. advertising three near-identical further printings with same isbn, uncredited (seen uncertainly-attributed to pauline ellison) cover art and cover price before cover price rises to $2.25 with 3/1981 fifth printing. cover art retained through at least the fourteenth printing. mmpb rights reverted to harper by 1991, as the first harperpaperbacks mmpb printing is dated 4/1991. | |
