David Whiteley 14th Jan 2022		Once again, with acknowledgement to OldMod67 I've added better cover scans from a first edition. 158 pages, plus 2 pages advertising other Coronet books. Cover by Chris Foss. Here's some information on the contents of the book: All stories are reprints. Introduction: "Before the Triffids", by Walter Gillings. "Wanderers of Time", novelette, First published in Wonder Stories vol 4 No. 10, March 1933 as by John Beynon Harris. "Derelict of Space", novelette, Fantasy No. 3, 1939 as by John Beynon. "Child of Power", novelette, Fantasy No. 3, 1939 as by Wyndham Parkes. "The Last Lunarians", short story, Wonder Stories vol 5 No. 9, April 1934 as "The Moon Devils" as by John Beynon Harris. "The Puff-Ball Menace", novelette, Wonder Stories vol 5 No. 3, October 1933, as "Spheres of Hell" as by John Beynon Harris.



OldMod67 22nd Feb 2019		The stories contained are: Wanderers of Time, Derelict of Space, Child of Power, The Last Lunarians, The Puff-ball Menace. The cover states 'John Wyndham writing as John Beynon' . However, Child of Power was written under the name Wyndham Parkes. The author's real name being John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris....so really this book is John Beynon, writing as John Beynon (except one story) but being marketed as by John Wyndham! Moderators, feel free to change my entry if you think the names should be the other way around!
