(hope you've put a correction sub in) |

| | @philwill: You're wrong, and perhaps your eyesight fails you as there's a dash marker between the 2nd last digit 6 and the last digit 2.
You will see this dash on 1) the bottom line of the slip sleeve and 2) the spine |

| | Wrong. Cat# for the release has been entered perfectly correctly. Perhaps you're looking at the individual CD Cat#s? |

| | That's really funny - 2 Moderators here talking about the CD and neither notices the Cat# has been entered incorrectly. Way to go... |

| | I have to say, this cataloguing malarky has thrown up some real surprises for me!
I don't think I've ever offered my collections such close scrutiny before- especially CDs. I knew a little about what I know: Vinyl; Pink Floyd, Genesis, The Rolling Stones; But "accidentally acquired" vinyl of various descriptions and general CD purchases (which, to my shame perhaps, have always been considered somewhat disposable, or rather, utilitarian items, bought for their use alone), have proven to be just as interesting to me now.... I think my collecting bug may have extended now to CDs!
So far discovered that (among CDs) my copy of this is US copy, my Revolver is Canadian, My Blonde on Blonde is original US copy, in my vinyl: John Lennon Imagine is a pathe marconi contract press, ELO Out of the Blue is German, Steely Dan is Portuguese, Selling England By the Pound is Dutch, Brothers in Arms is Greek, etc. etc. etc.
Makes you wonder what trade decriptions act (UK), and equivalent bodies would have to say about it when you buy, what you think are standard copies of albums from Amazon, Play, Etc. and they turn out to be other versions (I suppose, as they don't list these specifics, and as long as the title generally fulfills the descriptions they do give of title and format, it doesn't really matter(?)) |

| | Hi, I've got a US version of the same album, imported via Amazon.com about 2007, with 16 tracks. MCA Records – MCAD-11269
I will have to post it..... |

| | Hi MM, there is a UK/Europe Deluxe Edition on Polydor listed in Discogs. Similar catalogue number to this US issue, and the reproduction Track and Decca labels on the discs show Polydor logos instead of MCA. |

| | Hello PhilMH,
You're quite right, it is a US copy. Which begs thequestion:
Is there a UK Polydor version of this deluxe edition?
I used to order stuff from Play.com, in the brief "pre-MP3" age from about 2000 - 2005 ish, and I think it is because they are based "offshore" in Jersey (or Guernsey...can't remember which...big tax issues arose about such companies because of this), that they used to get stock from all over, rather than just go through normal UK distribution channels, and I assumed that whatever they sent me was UK, for the most part...
... But I've been discovering now that a lot of what they sent me is not standard UK issues.
Frequently I bought a standard copy of something, and a limited edition would turn up (Boards of Canada album's I've got... ACDC ATCO Re-masters (which are the nuts!), or digipaks or fold-out wallets) Wish I'd ordered more from them now! |

| | Hi MM, did you accidentally click on UK for the country instead of US? The Who are only on MCA in the US and Canada, they are on Polydor in the UK and the rest of the world. |
