This one to be made International too, please, as virtually all of WEA's Australian releases were imported German pressings in 1987. My copy is the same as fixbutte's.
There's a nice little video for Brass In Pocket on YouTube, from a time when videos still told stories, with Chrissie Hynde portraying a waitress and the band members as her guests. As I've learned from Wikipedia, it was the seventh video played during MTV's launch on August 1, 1981.
The Pretenders may have had some good albums, but above all they were a singles band for me. On this compilation are all their A-sides, from the stormy Kinks cover Stop Your Sobbing via their attractively defiant #1 UK hit Brass In Pocket and the clever and emotional Back On The Chain Gang to the jingling Don't Get Me Wrong – this was excellent music and lyrics all over. Only Chrissie Hynde's collaboration with UB40, the #1 cover of Sonny & Cher's I Got You Babe, seems dispensable in this context.
