Track 3, "Where Have You Been (All My Life)" was written by Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil. There was a big flap about this recording when The Guess Who submitted it to Scepter under the title of "'Til We Kissed." They asked who the composer was. Allan said it was him. They pressed him on it, and then he said it was somebody named Gunter, published by Johnny Kidd's London publisher. Scepter got to the bottom of it, and discovered it to have been written by Mann/Weil and first recorded by Arthur Alexander. Scepter was so mad at Chad Allan that they left this song off their album and substituted it with a song by another group, and passed on their option to release The Expressions' next single. This is the first time I've seen it credited to Gunter and Acuff. Both are wrong.
By the way, all of the tracks on this CD are horribly gain boosted and brickwall limited. Just a solid waveform from start to finish, with no dynamics.
On the "Hey Ho" album, track B4 is "Inside Out" - this is missing from the CD.
