 Why is this listed as an EU release? This probably the most international CD ever made. The barcode listed here is wrong and should in fact be 888751738621 the same as the USA release. Now when the USA and UK cat#s and barcodes align you know it's an international release. The fact that this album has been entered incorrectly is proof our system is shit. This album was released with these details in China, Italy, Colombia, Malaysia, Mexico, Argentina, Hong Kong, India, Brazil, Taiwan, Canada, Indonesia, Australia, Germany and Italy. There's probably more but I think the point has been made. Does anybody check this stuff?

It should not take more than one entry from at least two different countries to correctly enter a CD regardless of whether we think it's international or not. Surely, we should be able to enter an album correctly on the first attempt! If site users are not expected to know whether CDs are international then the onus must have to be on the MODS to check when they approve an entry. This entry is a classic example of what a joke our system is. Strangely though this system of CD entry seems to be supported by a lot of EU site members that, in the main, can't be bothered to enter their own CDs correctly. I'm sick of sending corrections to make EU releases international and it seems EU site members are completely oblivious to the distribution networks that their products are directly a part of or the origin of product details for. Now if the MODS can't be bothered checking this stuff on approval of an entry you really have to ask what is the point of the category other than to mess up the site and confuse site users. Mission accomplished on that score unfortunately.

Correction on barcode and country listing sent, rant over for the week. Next week the topic will be WTF more incorrectly listed EU made CDs.
