 If Prince didn't have a hand in writing the tracks, Sheila definitely was inspired by him, as most of the tracks here wouldn't have been out of place on a Vanity 6 or Apollonia 6 album, not to mention an album by Prince himself. Same for her Romance 1600 followup album (especially A Love Bizarre). Still an excellent album and arguably my personal favorite of the Prince "family" albums.

 The Starr * Company = Prince and yes, I heard that rumor too :-)
He composed most of the music, that is pretty obvious LOL!

 It is rumored that Prince wrote all the songs on this album. The liner notes show that Sheila E. composed all the songs and track 5 is a collaboration with Brenda Bennett (from Vanity 6)
