gregs45s SUBS 24th Jul 2021		@Quad5point1 Very interesting reading, i never knew that a yellow dye was added to some PDO Discs until now. I think you're right about this particular Disc having been "dyed", rather than "bronzed/corroded" as the "bronzed/corroded" discs all seem to be darker around the edge (as in the photo on that page), whereas, this appears to be much more evenly toned, and therefore, presumably "dyed" cheers, good to know.



Quad5point1 23rd Jul 2021		@gregs45s. It looks like your disc is genuinely "Gold Coloured". I was searching around the web looking for info on PDO disc bronzing and came across THIS PAGE and it seems that at one stage PDO added a dye to the lacquer that gave them the gold tint



Quad5point1 3rd Jun 2021		I just dug out my copy of this and it's the same as Gregs45s disc. I don't think it's supposed to be gold coloured, mine has gold colouration that varies from one end of the disc to the other. Just another bad case of bronzing and bad production from the PDO UK stable.
