Notes Several tracks have no songwriter credits.
Track 10, although included amongst child-friendly recordings, is in fact an adult "party" version with racy lyrics and swearing.
Images Comments and Reviews furrball 20th Dec 2015 Ah, yes, "Barnacle Bill The Sailor", about which recording David Lennick says in his liner notes, "... (Carson) Robison and Hoagy Carmichael (as the fair young maiden) immortalized the adventure in 1930, with an all-star band that included Benny Goodman, Bud Freeman, Bix Beiderbecke and Joe Venuti (who can be heard throughout the second verse singing a word that is very definitely NOT "sailor"! Adults only!)."
That Venuti. What a cut-up... :)
